Jacaranda Paperbark Tee

A little botanical colour play.

The delicate, feathery flowers of Melaleuca, commonly known as Paperbark, are usually found in soft creams and whites. For this design, we've taken those beautiful flowering branches and reimagined them in soft pink against a rich jacaranda-purple cotton.

The graphic botanical linework wanders diagonally across the tee and over the shoulders onto the back, following the branching stems and flowers, with smaller details scattered across the fabric.

I've always found Melaleuca fascinating to watch through its changing seasons, from flowering to the formation of its curious little woody seedpods. As a child, I loved collecting those tiny pods and keeping them in a matchbox.

Cut in our relaxed everyday tee shape, with comfortable drop sleeves and an easy fit, this is a beautiful piece for everyday wear.

Hand screen printed in our Northcote studio in small batches.
