Warrigal Greens Tshirt

Warrigal Greens (Tetragonia tetragonioides) is a sprawling coastal plant with wonderfully angular leaves, found growing along the shores of Australia and beyond. An edible native green with a long history of use by First Nations people, it is sometimes known as New Zealand spinach.

Our Warrigal Greens print follows the wandering stems and distinctive leaves of this remarkable little plant, drawn from observation and transformed into a flowing botanical design.

Hand screen printed in fine black linework onto a brilliant lime green cotton jersey, the design winds across the garment, creating a sense of movement and a lovely contrast against the fresh, bright colour.

The fabric is an exceptionally lightweight, soft cotton jersey, perfect for warmer days. Cut in our relaxed everyday tee shape, it's an easy piece to throw on with your favourite pants, shorts or skirts.

Hand screen printed in small batches in our Northcote studio.We've made just a small run of these tees, using a beautiful lightweight cotton jersey that was only available in limited quantities. Once they're gone, we may not be able to make this colourway again.
