Our Velvet House Coats are designed to blur the line between loungewear and outerwear, equally at home thrown over pyjamas, layered for dinner, or worn dramatically while making coffee barefoot in the kitchen. Soft velvet, slow mornings, and a touch of old-world glamour are all part of the equation.
Made from cotton velvet with a soft cotton lining, they carry a beautiful weight and drape while remaining breathable and comfortable to wear. The rich surface catches the light in movement, giving the coat a quiet theatricality without feeling overstated.
The velvet itself features an Art Nouveau-inspired floral print, full of flowing lines and rich ornamental detail, balanced with a playful sulphur-crested cockatoo lining hidden inside. The hardest part may simply be choosing a colour.

Designed with a generous oversized fit, the Velvet House Coat measures approximately 65 cm across the back panel from armpit to armpit, and 121 cm in length from the nape of the neck. Comfortably fitting a broad range of body shapes and sizes depending on desired fit and styling. Model Rosie is 170cm and size 10.
