Who says trackies can't be smart?

I've barely taken these off since the first sample was completed! They're everything you could want in a pair of track pants: wonderfully comfortable, easy to wear and just a little bit fancy.

Made from soft, substantial black cotton French terry, the Smarty Pants have a relaxed, straight leg with a little extra width for a lovely easy silhouette.

But the real fun is down the sides. A narrow 3cm strip of colourful patchworked cotton kantha runs along the outside of each leg. Made from lightweight, hand-stitched sari fabrics, the kantha brings a wonderful mix of pattern, colour and texture to an otherwise classic pair of black trackies. No two pairs are exactly alike!

We've also added patch pockets for a little '70s charm and a lovely clean silhouette.

The cotton French terry is a wonderful natural-fibre fabric, breathable and comfortable against the skin, with enough weight to give the pants a beautiful drape. Perfect for everyday adventures, travelling, lounging or heading out when you want to feel comfortable without looking like you've given up on getting dressed.

We've refined the fit after plenty of real-life testing (mostly me refusing to take them off!) and added a little extra length to the production pattern to account for shrinkage.

Fit & sizing: Relaxed fit with a straight, slightly wide leg.

Handmade in small batches.

Used for leggings, underwear, merino layers, knitwear, t-shirts and stretch or jersey garments.

Used for woven garments. The ones that have less or no stretch in the fabric.
