Rainbow Lorikeets are one of those Australian birds we can almost take for granted — flashes of electric blue, brilliant green, orange, yellow and red hurtling through the trees, usually accompanied by enough noise to make sure you notice them.

These earrings capture some of that glorious excess in miniature. Intricately hand beaded in India, layers of brightly coloured glass and metal beads build up the lorikeets' unmistakable plumage, with shimmering details that catch the light as they move.

Bold, joyful and just a little ridiculous — rather like the birds themselves.
