Used for leggings, underwear, merino layers, knitwear, t-shirts and stretch or jersey garments.

Used for woven garments. The ones that have less or no stretch in the fabric.

Flax Lily or Blueberry Lily (Dianella) is common here in the South East of Australia, it has a blue berry and purple flowers with yellow stamens. It’s dark green leaves were traditionally used for string. The pretty flowers come out in spring-summer, followed by the berries. There is a bigger version found in the North East.
