Now for something completely different, this lino print was hand cut and printed with immense joy in the studio by Katy over July 2024.
Spotted Pardalotes are tiny foliage foragers that live in tree-hallows, usually in the tops of eucalyptus canopies.
They are only 8-10cm, this one on paper is about x1.5 the actual size, and printed on 300gsm 100% cotton cold pressed watercolour paper, around A5 size (210x145mm).
As a reduction lino print, the plate is printed and then cut away to build up colours.
Edition of 15 prints. Due to the nature of the process this edition can not be reprinted.
