This is an original cyanotype (not a scanned copy) from a body of work made from collecting local Australian Fauna. Anigozanthos is the science name for Kangaroo Paw (another non-indigineous name) and is a uniquely iconic flower. The cyanotype was toned with collected various plants containing tannin to give it extra depth. I particularly love the brushstrokes of the blue next to the perfect forms of the fern.
