Peony Patch – Overdyed Edition
These leggings carry a tale of friendship, gardens, and playful defiance. The peonies were drawn after a visit to a dear friend’s lush Tasmanian garden — a treasured catch-up during the Deloraine Craft Fair. When I asked if I could sun-print her flowers, she grinned and said, “Just not my peonies!” So I drew them instead.
Originally made from high-vis deadstock cotton, the fabric was softened in both colour and spirit through an in-house overdye — resulting in a muted, leafy green with subtle character. The heavier weight makes them a comforting companion for cooler days or extra durability, without compromising on softness or stretch.
