This is an original cyanotype (not a scanned copy) from a body of work created in my time as a Float resident artist on Lake Tyers in September 2024. It was a truely amazing experience to spend time on the Lake observing the environment in this setting and connecting with the landscape and the animals. Coastal wattle is abundant to the area. It was toned with collected plants with PH shifting qualities to give it extra depth. I particularly love the gestural brushstrokes next to the perfect yet wild forms of the frond.
440mm x 336mm (around A3 size)
Framed in Tasmanian Oak with 3mm glass. Print is on 300gsm cold pressed Fabriano Artistico paper.
