This is an original cyanotype (not a scanned copy) from a body of work made on my time as a Float resident artist on Lake Tyers in September 2024. It was a truely amazing experience to spend time on the Lake observing the environment in this setting and connecting with the landscape and the animals. Braken Fern is a native fern and abundant in the area. The cyanotype was toned with collected various plants containing tannin to give it extra depth. I particularly love the brushstrokes of the blue next to the perfect forms of the fern.
