This is a beautiful garment with many layers of stories to tell.

Each are totally unique and made by Captain Robbo from Kantha quilts, which are hand made in Rajistan, India. Kantha quilts are made from 3 layers of vintage cotton Sari’s, hand sewn together by an artist collective of women in a small village. One quilt take 5-12 days to make.

This coat uses the entire width of the quilt, and offcuts are then patched together in our studio to make more garments, hence this product is ‘zero waste’.
